Stephannie ‘s family has a rich Christian heritage, with ministers and missionaries on both sides of the family tree.
She accepted Christ as her savior in her adolescence realizing early on that she was a sinner and understanding that Christ was the only way to forgiveness.
Stephannie faithfully attended church, youth activities and music events; however, she did not sense the closeness with Christ that she needed. In college Stephannie spent a summer working at a Christian conference facility which began her journey to a new Spiritual awakening.
After finishing college, she began a career in the corporate world. In 1999, while attending a Bible Study Fellowship study on Romans, she made the decision to leave her career to focus on music and songwriting.
Stephannie felt God was showing her that He had a plan for her life that was better than anything she could imagine. But she knew she had to surrender her own will and maneuvers to allow Him to reveal His plan. Letting go is always a struggle.
Stephannie re-dedicated her life to God and came to a new understanding of what it means to have a relationship with Christ. She realized that she had to trust in Him in all things. (Rom 8:28)
