Stephannie currently divides her time between Oklahoma and Tennessee. At home in Tulsa, she thrives on balancing many roles, nurturing her husband and daughter and writing music in their “upstairs studio.” Performing her music for Christian and civic gatherings had to go to allow time for Stephannie to focus completely on song writing.
On each flight to Nashville she is met by her mom and dad, eager to get their hands on their new grand-daughter while Steph heads off to some co-writing appointment or studio session. Now that the “No Room for Disguises” project is complete, Stephannie is free to fulfil her desire to work with
Although all of Steph’s songs come from God, she is continually amazed at the vehicles that He uses to send them to her. During her usual weekly conversation with the ex-president of Benson Records, John Mays made an off the cuff remark that stuck in her mind. Over the next few days, that seed grew into a new song . . . for which she fully intends to give both God and John credit!
